Biasa kalau di Sabah..soal SOGIT nie mcm2 yg kena mintak...sebagai denda. Macam sekor kebau, ayam, kain sarung, sebilah parang la....Tu SOGIT melibatkan manusia dgn alam nye punyer hal la.. Bro siddiq...kalau SOGIT utk GL apa yg patut yer...Ingat2 bro vincent mcm kena SOGIT bagi Grill IMPUL kat buyer yg blum pasang armrest tuu....ape kata bro..ok tak?

                 Vincent here, pls be patien a bit. sorry for the delay , yet because i try to get the video on how to install the armrest  and send to u all. n busy at work so take a bit time lah ,

installation guide is here . and i will add the video version soon.

first try to open the screw which lock the center console. then take the center console out from the GL



use a cardboard to make a making like in the picture .


after finished install the armrest should be like the picture below









after finished making the setting for the armrest

place the armrest into the holder provide







after place the armrest ontop of the holder put the screw and tighten the holder with screw.

on the side of the armrest holder , u light find it a bit bigger , resize the holder until the holder is fitted nicely in between the seat.

final step after resize n tighten the screw, make sure the armrest is install firmly and not goyang goyang, then put back all the pcs of the cover and screw back to the center console and put the center console back into the GL.

firstly try to open the center console and get the console out from the GL,

then try to follow the picture show on last posting and everything should be ok.

             Vincent here , i here enclosed the manual for open the center console method. any problem do let me know ok

1) try to look for this side cover on the center console.





2) then  use a small sharp pin to open the small clip which show on picture







after the small pin is removed the cover is sureout from the center console.





do the same step on the left and right side for the center console . then , the front part of the center console removed step is done.

the air con and the cup holder removed step i will upload tomorrow.  need to look for my cup holder and the air con windows.

removed the screw which on the top of the center console. 2 pcs screw.


in addition, the armrrest holder will need to modifly like this in order to fit in the center console nicely. onl;y the driver side need to modifly a bit . the passenger side is ok.











this is a picture where the screw is place in between the armrest holder n the armrest steel leg.

1) first open u car door. prepare a screw driver n a small pin to open the pin.



2) use the small steel pin to try open the small pin like show in the pic











3) do the same on the left n right side of the center console cover.n the cover will be out in no time.



after the cover is taken out , use a screw driver to open the screw at the side of the center console . like show in the picture below



next step is to open the screw at the back ( left n right side screw)





take the air con cover out slowly .



after all the screw is removed. now is the step to take the center console out from the car.

1) use a screw driver to open up the small cover near the handbreak area.

now after the cover is  out from the console, the nest step is to take up the center console . u might need a helping hand .

if u are a GL (manual) try to shift the gear to second.
if u r a auto pull the handbreak n then shift the gear to D, then









remember to take a box and keep the screw clip n the cover .

item need to remember to keep it well after get it out from GL


screw n clip, clip for the front cover near the center music section and clip for the cupholder section.



open the 2 pcs screw  from below to open the cup holder

to seperate the black holder n the cup holder u need to use a screw driver to press the middle part with a screwdriver n press hard in the middle then it will open up into 2 pcs.

next step will be making 2 hole, 1 for the armrest leg n one for the screw.

after settle making the space for armrest holder . place the armrest holder into the console.



next step is to stable the armrest holder with two small screw on each side .







after got the armrest base secure screw. place the armrest into the holder and screw up the two big screw provided.







after finished tight up the screw , put back the  air con cover back into the original place.remember to keep all the screw when u take it out from center console

Thanks Vincent for the latest pic upload.

So how is it going to be next bro siddiq....Dare to DIY bro...hehehehe. Now i'm looking forward to it. After all u had told me the center console price at ETCM was RM460. WOW! Holy cow@lembu...Half of my GL monthly installment if i DIY it wrongly...anyway lets give it a shot!
